Privacy Policy

Affirmery ("the app") is made by Kritesh Singh. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. In short: we don't collect it.

Information we collect

None. Affirmery does not collect, store on a server, share, or sell any personal information.

• All 365 affirmations are built into the app and work offline.
• Your saved affirmations, streak, focus areas and settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
• Moods you pick in a check-in are used only to choose an affirmation right then. They aren't saved, even on your device.
• We don't use analytics, advertising identifiers or third-party trackers, and there are no ads.

Notifications

If you turn on daily reminders, the app schedules them as local notifications on your phone. They are created on your device, and no notification data is sent to a server.

Widget and sharing

The home-screen widget shows affirmations from the app's built-in content and reads nothing else.

When you tap Share, the affirmation card is created on your device and passed to your phone's share sheet. It only goes where you choose to send it.

App updates

To deliver bug fixes and content improvements, the app may check for updates from our update provider, Expo. This check sends only technical information needed to deliver the right update, such as the app version and platform. It does not include anything you've saved or entered in the app, and it isn't used to identify or track you.

Ratings

The app may occasionally show Apple's standard "Rate this app" prompt. Apple handles that prompt, and we don't receive any information from it beyond the public rating or review you choose to leave.

Permissions

• Notifications (optional): only used for your daily reminders. You can turn them off any time in the app or in your device settings.

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored on your device, deleting the app removes all of its data.

Not medical advice

Affirmery is a self-reflection tool, not a medical or therapeutic product. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional mental-health care.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
